🏛️ Architecture Birth: April 20, 2026
Source: Consolidated from “Conductor” agent plans.
1. The CTO Master Blueprint
On this date, the decision was made to shift from local-first development to the Thin Client Remote-First Architecture.
- The Core Goal: Decouple the development “Engine” from the physical hardware (Laptop/Desktop).
- Primary Tooling: Move to Native SSH, Termius, and Google Cloud VMs.
2. Infrastructure Assessment
- Cloud Shell: Evaluated but determined too limited for long-term “Engine” use.
- Dedicated VM: Selected as the permanent home for WayCup development.
- TCI Strategy: (Terminal-Context-Infrastructure) defined to ensure every session starts with perfect AI context and synchronized environment variables.
3. The “Tngl” Era
- Initial plans for a
tngldistribution system were drafted to manage project sync. - Note: These have now been evolved into the Nix / Home Manager declarative system we use today.
4. SSH & Security
- Strategic move to consolidate keys into 1Password and utilize SSH Agent Forwarding to protect GitHub credentials.
